Dog lover Sue Corfield organises dog activity breaks at her 16th Century farmhouse in South Shropshire.
Activities on the three day Barking Mad Weekend packages include hillside walks, flyball, agility and scent training with expert pet coaches, hydrotherapy and a canine ‘who dunnit’ murder mystery night. 

Gorgeous Bamburgh Beach below Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland was voted Britain’s best beach in the Kennel Club awards.
Dogs are welcome all year round and there’s plenty of space to run around plus coastal walks too.
It’s very clean and not surprisingly, there’s plenty of other pups there for yours to play with. 

Battersea’s Muddy Dog Challenge is 2.5/5km obstacle course for dogs and owners.
Crawl through muddy tunnels, balance on beams and bounce on trampolines to help raise funds for abandoned pets.
There’s still places at the Hever Castle Event in Kent on September 30th.

Who doesn’t love a good shop?
And it’s loads of fun if you can let your furry friend run free and choose their own toys and accessories.
We visited Pet London this summer and it was absolutely pawsome – here’s Daisy with her goodies.
They have a pet boutique with more than 3,000 things to choose from, ranging from party dresses to bags and loads of fun toys.
She was naughty though and grabbed one very cute Chihuahua teddy bear and ripped it apart – I was mortified!

The Brandling Villa in Gosforth, Newcastle, is a pub for dogs with a menu filled with delights like Fillet O Frank.
That’s Chicken Breast in a dog biscuit coating served on a bed of sausage and rice with cat gravy.
Wash it down with a Bottom Sniffer doggy beer!
This is one of Daisy’s fave places and mine too – great burgers!

The Cotswold Wildlife Park lets dogs in on leads.
So your pooch can mingle with the meerkats and watch the lions, zebras and giraffes in awe and have a day to remember.
Expect much woofing at the big beasts!

Try out Action Petz centres in Newport and Bridgend.
They’re totally secure with an indoor and outdoor play area, agility course and swimming pool for them to splash around in.
Founder Shelley Redding wanted to create a safe area for dogs to play after searching for 12 days for her puppy Rocco after he was dognapped on a walk. 

We absolutely loved Dogfest this year as you’ll see from Daisy’s face!
They’re popping up all over the country now.
Try the All About Dogs Show is on in Norfolk in August and Hylands in September and is an event organised by dog lovers for dog lovers.
Check out loads of stores selling doggie treats, accessories and gadgets, plus dog shows, agility courses, frisbee-catching contests and a doggy diving pool. 

The Doggie Diner in Sunderland won the Kennel Club’s most dog friendly cafe of the year award.
They host birthday paw-ties where dogs can invite pals along to their playpen, then for £8.95, have an afternoon tea including cheese chunks, woofkin treats, a pupcake and a tennis ball.
They have dog beer too.
The photos on their website look fab and it’s one of the places we have on our list to visit this summer!
